Your work and your trust matter. Here is how information is used at craftio.space.
Operator: Sandi Nash · Technical contact: Richard Nash · Florida, United States.
Privacy and legal requests: [email protected].
Our approach
craftio.space provides a place to organize and share handmade work. We do not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising. We do not track your activity across unrelated websites. We use operational statistics to improve the site's performance, reliability, and security, alongside the information necessary to provide accounts, galleries, support, and abuse prevention.
Information you provide
We process your email address, display name, protected password hash, verification and account security records, and any profile, profile photo, personal website or social link, Etsy shop link, Crafter application, project details, materials notes, photos, and captions you submit. We also process messages you send us for support or privacy requests. Do not send passwords, payment-card details, or other sensitive records in messages or public content.
Technical information
The application and its hosting/security providers process request information such as IP addresses, browser and connection details, timestamps, errors, and security events to deliver and protect the service. Operational statistics are used to assess performance and reliability, not to sell visitor profiles. We currently use Cloudflare performance and security statistics and do not run advertising campaigns, advertising pixels, or custom analytics cookies. We grow through organic search and word of mouth. Technical traffic statistics are not sold.
How we use information
We use information to provide and secure accounts, verify email, recover passwords, review Crafter applications, store and display projects according to your choices, provide support, prevent abuse, and meet applicable legal obligations. Where data protection law requires a legal basis, these purposes may rely on providing the service you request, legitimate interests in a reliable and safe service, legal obligations, or consent where required. We do not treat acknowledgment of a cookie notice as consent to optional tracking.
Public and private content
Published projects, photos, captions, your public display name, and any public profile story or Etsy link can be viewed and copied by others. Saved changes to published work appear immediately. Private projects, materials notes, and Crafter applications are not public gallery content. Authorized Admins and Founders can access private information when necessary for support, security, or moderation; relevant accesses are audited. Unpublishing does not retrieve copies already downloaded by others or held by external services.
Service providers and disclosures
SmarterASP.NET provides hosting and related database/email services. Cloudflare helps deliver and protect traffic. These providers process information needed to operate their services. Information may also be disclosed where legally required or reasonably necessary to protect rights, investigate abuse, or respond to security incidents, subject to applicable law. Public content is shared at your direction. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Cookies and future improvements
We use essential account and security cookies and a cookie that remembers when you dismiss our notice. We may consider custom cookies for site improvements in the future, but none are currently enabled. Before introducing them, we will explain their purposes and duration, update this policy, and provide consent or other choices where required. Dismissing today’s notice does not authorize future tracking. See our Cookie Policy for details.
Etsy
An Etsy shop link opens an independent service. Etsy and the relevant crafter or buyer handle their own accounts, purchases, and personal information under their policies. craftio.space does not process payments or maintain purchase, shipping, or payment-card records. The current site does not authorize Etsy accounts or synchronize orders.
Retention and your choices
Account and content information is retained as needed to provide the service. Security, audit, legal, and backup records may need to remain longer for their particular purposes. You can edit supported profile fields, unpublish work, and remove project photos through the site. Other access, correction, export, or deletion requests can be made to [email protected]. We may need to verify ownership before acting and may retain information where law or a legitimate security need requires it. For account deletion, email us; this feature is not currently self-service.
Your rights
Depending on where you live and the applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, obtain a copy of, or restrict certain uses of your information, object to processing, withdraw consent where processing relies on it, or complain to an appropriate authority. Contact us to make a request or ask about a decision. Requests will be assessed under applicable law; not every right applies to every record or situation.
Security and international processing
We use safeguards including HTTPS, protected authentication, password hashing, access controls, and validation of uploaded media. No service can guarantee perfect security. Hosting and network services can process information outside your country, where laws may differ. We use service providers and applicable safeguards appropriate to the processing. Contact us for information about a particular provider or request.
Children
The site is a general crafting service. Do not submit personal information about children in public profiles or photographs without appropriate authority. Contact us if you believe a child's information has been provided improperly so we can assess and address it under applicable law. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected such information without the authorization required by law, we will take appropriate steps to remove it.
