Terms & acceptable use
Last updated September 7, 2026 · Policy version 0.1.8b
A welcoming place to organize and share handmade work, with clear responsibilities for everyone who uses it.
craftio.space is operated by Sandi Nash in Florida, United States. Richard Nash is the technical contact. Email [email protected] for questions about these terms or the service.
Our role: a utility and venue
craftio.space provides project organization, photo storage, public profiles, and galleries for crafters. We do not sell the items shown, process payments, operate a checkout, accept orders, or provide shipping, returns, refunds, escrow, or purchase protection.
Any business arrangement arising from an introduction, gallery, or link on craftio.space is between the crafter and the customer or other user. The crafter and that user are responsible for agreeing to the item, price, payment, delivery, taxes, returns, and other transaction terms and for complying with applicable law. craftio.space is not a party to their transaction, their agent, or a guarantor of either party’s performance.
Contact the seller and the platform where the transaction occurred about purchases or disputes. We may investigate misuse of craftio.space and moderate content, but we do not adjudicate sales disputes. Nothing in these terms removes responsibilities or consumer rights that applicable law does not allow to be excluded.
Etsy and other external services
Etsy links take you to an independent service. Your use of Etsy, and any purchase, shop, account, or integration authorization there, is governed by your relationship with Etsy and the relevant crafter or buyer, including Etsy’s terms and the seller’s policies. A link does not mean Etsy endorses craftio.space or that we endorse a seller.
The current site supports links to Etsy shops; it does not connect Etsy accounts or synchronize listings or orders. Any future integration will be described before it is enabled. Review Etsy’s terms and privacy policy before using Etsy.
Your account and responsibilities
Provide accurate account information, keep your password private, and use only accounts and content you are authorized to manage. Tell us if you suspect unauthorized access. Crafter approval provides access to site features; it is not certification of a person, business, product, safety claim, or professional skill.
Your work remains yours
You retain ownership of your photos, descriptions, and other original content. You must have the rights and permissions needed to upload it, including permission for identifiable people shown in photos. Do not upload another maker’s patterns, photographs, or text without permission.
By uploading content, you give us a nonexclusive permission to store, copy, resize, format, and display it as needed to provide the site according to your visibility choices. This permission does not transfer ownership or authorize unrelated advertising or sale of your work. Public sharing allows other visitors to view your work; it does not grant them permission to reproduce or sell it.
Only publish material you intend to make public. Saved changes to published work appear immediately. Unpublishing stops new access through our public pages, but cannot retrieve copies already downloaded or retained by others. Keep your own copies of important work and original photos.
Acceptable use
- Be respectful. Do not harass, threaten, impersonate, discriminate against, or expose private information about others.
- Do not post unlawful, fraudulent, exploitative, or infringing material, misleading product claims, spam, or malicious links.
- Do not upload malware, probe or bypass access controls, access another member’s private work without authorization, or disrupt the site.
- Do not collect member data for unsolicited marketing or use automated scraping that violates privacy, rights, or site security.
- Keep project and profile content relevant to the crafting community. Do not submit payment-card details, account passwords, or sensitive personal records in public text or photos.
Moderation and reports
We may restrict access or remove content when reasonably needed to enforce these rules, respond to abuse or rights complaints, protect people and the service, or comply with law. Authorized Admins and Founders may access private content when needed for support, security, or moderation; those accesses are audited. Contact us to report a concern or request review of a moderation decision. Include a page link and enough detail to investigate; do not send passwords.
Availability and limitations
We aim to provide a useful, reliable service, but cannot promise uninterrupted access, error-free content, permanent storage, or the accuracy, legality, safety, or availability of another user’s creations. To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided as available without additional warranties, and we are not responsible for losses caused by independent transactions or third-party services. These limitations do not exclude liability or rights that cannot lawfully be limited.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms as the service changes. We will date revisions and identify material changes in development updates or another appropriate notice. Changes do not retroactively remove rights you already have. Privacy, account, content, and service concerns can be sent to the operator identified in our Privacy Policy.
